A holding/breaking deposit of R4 000 is required when booking your function date over and above the venue price. This deposit of R4 000 will be refunded within 10 days after your function if everything is found in order.
Large Hall venue hire (capacity of ±250 guests with dancing): R22 000.
Small Hall venue hire (capacity of ±100 guests with dancing): R16 500.
Braai Lapa which leads out onto a garden (capacity ±55 guests): Hires out for R6 000 which includes, tables, chairs, basic crockery, cutlery and glasses, music centreand speakers, cash bar with barman, ice and glasses, small kitchen with stove and fridge and bainemarie. A refundable breakage/holding deposit of R2 000 is required to reserve a booking over and above the R6000.
Venue Hire will include the below:
tables and chairs/basic crockery, cutlery and glasses/draping and fairylights/cash bar with barman, ice and glasses/DJ lights and mirror ball/ wagons/cake table/bridal table/wine vat tables for canapes/outside bar counter/buffet tables/use of the kitchen facilities/setting up tables and chairs/breaking down and cleaning of the hall.
We can do décor and flowers which comes with free setting of tables, but if you choose to do your own the responsibility of setting tables is yours. (contact us for more details)
Kaapzicht does not cater, although we do have kitchen facilities. We have a list of our preferred caterers which you could choose from and obtain menus and prices (contact us for details). Use of own caterers is allowed with a R1 500 surcharge for the use of the kitchen.
Your nominated caterer must provide all cooking utensils, black bags, cleaning aids, dish cloths etc. and ensure the kitchen is left clean and tidy, including making sure that all crockery, cutlery and glasses are washed clean and dried. Breakages, missing items or kitchen left unclean will be deducted from the refundable deposit of R4 000 paid at booking.
Cash Bar: A cash bar is included. Our bar prices are reasonable, but prices do fluctuate from time to time. All WINES (click to download pricelist) must be bought from the Estate.
Ceremony in the garden: R3 000 (inclusive of thatched gazebo draped, pulpit, red carpet, signing table and wine vat tables and umbrellas for canapes in the garden area).
Prices increase on the 1st of January every year.
