Tasting Notes
This medium-bodied wine with a healthy ruby red colour has good varietal identity. Fresh and vibrant with layers of summer berry flavours complemented by hints of chocolate and spicy vanilla oak. Tannins are soft; the acids gentle and ripe berry fruit is integrated to produce a clean, balanced wine.

Produced for immediate enjoyment or medium-term cellaring.

A good match for pasta with meat sauce, grilled vegetables, meat casseroles.

Soil: Clovelly type, weathered granite topsoil on a gravel layer, above a crumbly clay sub soil.
Yield: 8 ton/hectare
Grape Varieties: 100% Cabernet Sauvignon (11 year old trellised vines on R 110 rootstock)

Fermented dry on the skins. Gently pressed and matured with new French oak for 3 months.
