Dark ruby with slightly paling miniscus; deep flavours of mulberry, fruitcake and spice olives with herbaceous tones; some wood vanillin, cedar and mocha/chocolate tomes; well balanced with velvety tannins and a supple savoury finish.

In The Vineyard
Vines planted in weathered granite type soil.
About The Harvest
The Merlot was harvested at 25.5° Balling. Yield of 6ton/ha.
In The Cellar
Fermented with NT 50 in red wine tanks and pumped over three times a day, until dry. Pressed lightly at 1 Bar. Underwent malolactic fermentation in the tank before going into French Oak barrels for 24 months. 100% new oak was used.
